doB: Drybar has become a fast favorite across America. Why do you think so many of us have fallen in love?
Alli: Thanks for the compliment! I believe our success has a lot to do with our obsession with customer service and amazing hair. Not to mention the confidence we women get from a great blowout – there’s really nothing like it 😉
doB: You are opening two new locations, Murray Hill and Upper East Side in New York City. Are there plans for any additional cities this year?
Alli: Murray Hill is already open and doing great! We can not wait for the Upper East Side, which is set to open 12/19. Tribeca will also open before the end of the year and we are exploring additional locations right now as well. Stay tuned!
doB: Is this your dream job? If so, why? Why not?
Alli: Oh with out a doubt this is my dream job. I have always been obsessed with hair and this industry, so I’m beyond thrilled to be where I am. I also feel so lucky to be running this company that I absolutely adore with my brother, Michael Landau Drybar CEO and my husband Cameron Webb, Creative Director. I love working with both of them so much. We continue to put our blood, sweat and tears into growing and maintaining this business – so it’s fantastic and ultra humbling to see it thriving.
doB: What are your favorite hairstyles for fall?
Alli: Big hair! I am loving big hair for fall. Also love my staple Mai Tai, which we saw all over the runways this year.
doB: What is your favorite comfort food?
Alli: French fries, but I try really hard to avoid them
doB: Is there a beauty product that you always carry in your bag?
Alli: Eye liner, blush and pink lipstick are my MUST haves.
doB: Do you have any advice for new entrepreneurs?
Alli: Be prepared to put all you’ve got into growing your dream. And surround yourself with people that bring a different skill set than you to the table.
