7 Products 7 Steps to Perfect Summer Makeup

There are so many products to choose from, it can sometimes get overwhelming. On a beautiful but hot sticky day, I went to visit makeup artist Tara Driscoll at Bloomingdales to see what’s in beauty.

Here are the 7 steps and products I discovered for a fresh summer look.

Step 1

NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 is perfect for summer. It offers translucent coverage and sun protection. Apply the tinted moisturizer on your face working from the center outwards.

Step 2

Apply Trish McEvoy Eye Lift (a product that I can not do without) under the eye. When applying make a triangle under the eye bringing the point past your area of darkness then blend in for best results.

Step 3

Smile and apply La Prairie Cream Blush in a circular motion on the apples of your cheeks. I used the new color Plum Glow.

Step 4

Apply Trish McEvoy 24-Hour Eye Shadow & Liner in Topaz all over your lid starting in the inner corner of the eye and moving across the lash line, bringing the color up to the crease. You can also apply it under the eye, tight to the lash line.

Step 5

It is summer have some fun. I loved Dior New Look Mascara in Navy. Apply this to the top and bottom lashes to really make your eyes pop!

Step 6

I found this amazing new lip stain by YSL. This glossy stain is long lasting and is available in great shades for summer. Tara applied one coat of Coral

Fauve on the center of my lips and brushed towards the outer corners.
