As parents, you’re hopefully pushing your children to study and be the best they can be. I don’t want to brag, but I was always on the Dean’s List (but rarely on the fashion list).
Burger + Fries = Clogged arteries.
The recent story about Paula Deen’s diabetes came as no surprise. Her brilliantly delicious meals aren’t exactly the best for the body. We at doB do love that her sons learned from mama and are applying their culinary education to make a difference in heavenly healthier food options.
Lighten up. Exams are over.
Jamie and Bobby Deen have a great selection of Lighter Recipes that are sure to tickle your taste buds while making sure you fit perfectly into the Prada pleats trending this season. Portion control is key, and sporadic splurging is still allowed. A favorite of mine is their Lighter Beef and Barley Vegetable Soup. The amount of vegetables in this soup would even make the heartiest eater very happy.
It’s a struggle to always eat the healthiest, so instead, struggle to always eat right by making things light-ER. That simple knowledge will help you score high on the SATs (savory aptitude test).
Make the Honor Roll…just be sure it’s whole wheat.
